PML supporting new collaborative pilot

A new community and primary care pilot scheme begins on 20th October in Bicester. This North Oxfordshire based scheme will deliver training to the support workforce on identifying deteriorating patients, dementia care, skin integrity and end of life care.

The pilot is a collaborative initiative supported by the PML OneMed GP federation, Oxford Health, Bicester Healthy Town, Healthy Lives, Oxfordshire County Council and the Oxfordshire Training Network.

Rosie Rowe, Bicester Healthy New Town Programme Director said: “This is a significant step forward in North East Oxfordshire, giving multi-disciplinary training opportunities for support staff in community and primary care, that is focused, practical and of high quality.”

Funding is currently being sought to share this training across the whole of Oxfordshire.
