Banbury Health Centre receives ‘Good’ rating from CQC

Banbury Health Centre has received a GOOD rating from the CQC, across all inspected measures, for the services provided to approximately 6,000 patients.

PML has taken significant steps over the last 12 months to identify where improvements could be made to enhance the experience and care of patients visiting Banbury Health Centre, following an inspection in November 2016 where we were rated as Requires Improvement. The CQC found that these changes have had the required impact and the needs of all patient groups were being met under all inspected measures.

Tony Summersgill, PML Director of Clinical Services, said: “We are delighted that the CQC has recognised our ability to continually improve our patient care and achieve a rating of Good across all domains. The practice provides a wide range of services and support to their patients and the CQC were very complimentary about the team.  At Banbury Health Centre the needs of patients are at the heart of everything we do and this was very apparent during the inspection.

This rating was achieved through the hard work and commitment of our staff at Banbury Health Centre, and across the business, who work to deliver and support the practice in providing high levels of patient care.
